Bradley (belatedly) Gets 4th

Lightning 5 Capitals 2

One night after being robbed of his fourth goal of the season, Matt Bradley got it late in the third period against Tampa Bay. Friday night versus Florida, Bradley banked a shot off of sprawling Panthers goaltender Ed Belfour. Video replays clearly showed the puck roll over the goal line, but after several minutes of video review, the goal was waved off. From television shots of the replay booth, it seemed officials were concentrating their efforts on reviewing the inconclusive overhead view, in which Belfour obscures the puck with his blocker as he pulls it out of the net. The play was a turning point, as Florida (trailing 2-1 at the time) subsequently went to a power play and tied the game.
Undaunted, though, Bradley went out the next night and took back what was taken from him.
